The speakers for the Linda and O.C. Ferrell Practitioner Session for our inaugural ISM Conference were Matthew McHargue, Senior Vice President, Fine Wine and Craft Spirits, Wine and Spirits Leadership and Alex Schultz, Vice President, Brand Marketing, Brand Management of Constellation Brands, Inc. They spoke to a full room of ISM conference attendees on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Matthew gave a detailed history of Constellation Brands. Alex spoke specifically about the Pacifico brand, an emerging, digital-first brand, appealing to Gen Z. After the talk, the company sponsored the happy hour/business meeting for the entire MBAA conference with a variety of Constellation Brands products.

In 2023, our Constellation Brands Practitioner Session speaker was Sara Master, Senior Director of eCommerce Marketing & Digital Shelf. Sara discussed the beverage alcohol ecommerce landscape , the effect of the pandemic on this vertical, and how Constellation Brands is working to win the “shift to omnichannel.” She also discussed the new No/Low alcohol consumer and how Constellation Brands wine brand, Kim Crawford, is responding to these needs.
